The Links page

In the Links page (featured in the header), I have now added links to some of our funding agencies that we materials scientists go to with a begging bowl grant requests.

Please go through that page, and let us know the agencies — along with links! — that should be on that list. Make sure you give not just the URL for the main page, but also that for the (more useful) program page — which has application forms / formats, and other details.

[Aside: In putting together the information on that page, something interesting happened. I was keen to list not just the links to the agencies, but to pages where people can find more information about the specific programs under which grants are made, and where application forms are available. This led me to discover the website of the Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) of the Department of Science and Technology (DST). I would love to link to that site (which presumably has all these wonderful details and forms), but it has been flagged as a potential “attack site” by Google! The details are here. I have alerted Dr. Rao Aiyagari, Advisor and Member Secretary (SERC), about this problem. After this problem is solved, I’ll add the relevant links to that page.]

    Dear Sir,
Could you make an additional platform for adding details about different scholarships available for students at various stages of research, both from academia and industry which might attract more number of people to join the stream?
